Jake wanted to make cookies today so I gave him a long choice of options... After some thought, he decided on gingerbread cookies (which are my fav!!) YUMM!
We fed the ducks today after Jake got out of school.... Oh my are they overwhelming! Maybe even a little scary! Jake said he felt bad because the seagulls were so mean to each other. They were all fighting for the wheat delight, and getting a little too close for comfort! We saw everything from ducks, geese, pigeons and seagulls.
We are very lucky to live next to East high..Yes, the high school musical phenomenon! Jake will be attending high school there if we are still in this area when he is ready. They had a Halloween fundraising carnival and we went! We had a lot of fun! Jake won lots of cool HSM paraphernalia and got to play lots of games! He even got a East high hoodie! He was very excited about that and has not taken it off since last night.
I feel like I am getting huge! I am having some serious trouble bending over... Brad laughs at me a lot due to my grunting every time I get up, sit down, or bend over. I am feeling her move a lot! It kind of makes it a little more real, ya know!? I am 5 months and 3 weeks... Almost 6months, the time really does fly, pretty soon I will have a baby and she will be turning 1... So I am just trying to enjoy what is happening now and excited for what is coming! I am sure I will have a different attitude when I have 3 weeks left:)

We did a little class at Discovery Gateway the other day. If you have gone to Discovery Gateway but didn't do any of the classes you are really missing out... They have all age groups and do really fun things depending on the months and the best part is that they are FREE. We live 2 min away so we have a pass and let me tell you..It is so worth it to Jake and I!
My very best friend Allison came to visit me last weekend from Canada and we had a blast! Every time I go to blog about it I realize my camera is either with Brad or the battery is dead so I am finally getting to it.
This was a very much needed weekend at least for me, we ate our hearts out, shopped, ate some more and most important got to visit which I loved the most!
She just had a beautiful baby girl 4 months ago that I had never met, so that was so exciting for Brad, Jake and myself! It made me even more excited to have a girl, she was so much fun!
I miss Allison so much, it makes me very sad to not have her closer. We talk everyday for hours on the phone but it still sucks that she can't just come over and visit whenever she wants. Our husbands probably think we are crazy, we spent 5 days together and we talked for another hour on the phone when she called to tell me she arrived home safely! Thanks Chad and Brad for putting up with us! Here are some pics of our weekend together!

I made Brad take the picture 20 times, first I told him to get closer to our faces to try and cut my arms out... Then I told him to back up because my double chin was alarming... Of course Allison looked cute and normal in all of them, she had a baby 4months ago.. Can you believe that?
