LOOK AGAIN!

WOW! I am kind of shocked by what you all guessed, Especially you Mother... You have had 9 kids I would think if any of you could get it right it would be you old timers. It was so very clear to me and I have never seen girl parts on a ultrasound before... YES, IT'S A GIRL!! If you look again you will see two white parts, that is a labia, it is an underneath shot from her butt, LOL. Maybe it is really obvious to me because you can very much see the testicles and a pee pee floating around when it's a boy.

It feels very weird for me to say "SHE" I must be used to having a boy for 6 years. I am very excited for a different experience that I am sure a girl will bring!!!!

I was talking with Brad about what all of you thought about the sex of our baby and Jake asked why people were guessing different things.... I told him I was playing a little game and having people guess for fun... He then said "Oh you are having them guess if it's a boy, a girl, or a aminal?" Yes I know its animal, he says it cute to me! Brad and I got a very good laugh out of that comment! Can you imagine being 6 thinking your mom might give birth to a small fury animal? LOL!!

HOCKEY!!!

This kid!!! As you all know Jake loves sports, and he really liked hockey! My oh my was it so cute to see him out on the ice with all of his gear! He has been so excited to start playing hockey, the kids have to pass a few levels of regular skating before they can start with the hockey program and he finally got to start today!

Halloween costume!

Can I just tell everyone how much I LOVE Halloween and the fall!! I can not even stand it! I love the cooler temps, the leaves, and the smell in the air! I love to decorate and I do it the day my little calender says it's the first day of fall.
Jake wanted to be a skeleton this year for Halloween, I was not even looking for a costume when I stumbled on this beauty! I have a little store I am keeping a secret and oh boy do I strike gold often... maybe even a little too often, anyways I walked in and to my surprise the perfect skeleton costume in Jake's size was waiting there for me!! It is a pottery barn costume made out of fleece super thick, zips up the back, so cute and so warm for the chilly night for only $14.99 I came home and looked in my pottery barn magazine that I have and saw it for $59.99! Oh the things that make my day brighter, I love good deals!!

Jake has started to write the words he sounds out.... He has been reading and sounding out for a while now but has just recently found interest in writing notes. It really makes me smile:)
Can you tell all he thinks about are sports? And hey... I am glad he worked me into his day as well!

KENNA'S HAIR

Kenna has been trying to talk her daddy into letting her put some brown & red in her hair for a year now, I told him I would try not to make her look like a teenager....He finally gave in! She is getting so old now ;)

It was a little shocking to Kenna since she had blond just 1/2 hour before... but she loves it! and school pictures are on Monday, The brown will be a little lighter by then.

1ST SOCCER GAME OF THE SEASON!

Jake had his first soccer game of the season and he wanted to start out as the goalie...Brad is the coach so the goalie he was... I think he likes that position because he gets to pick up, kick, and dive after the ball and he dives whether he needs to or not! Oh little Jake, he is a sports fanatic!

THE CARSEAT!!!

I found the coolest carseat and at an amazing deal might I add! I saw it at T.J. Max and it looked really nice and somewhat expensive, they were selling it for 69.99. I decided that I would go home and check it out first because I had not heard of the brand. I got home and found out what brand it was and the regular retail price was 179.99! I did a little research on it and found that it is actually a really nice well liked model! It is deeper and bigger then the norm so babies will not grow out of it so quickly.... Triple the padding for added comfort and the list goes on and on... Also it is safe, and that's what matters right?! Anyways, YES I went back and purchased it and I LOVE IT!!!
I went back a few days ago and to my surprise they had another one! This time it was in black, now I need everyone to help me out.... I LOVE the red but I also like the black.... Brad laughed at me when I said the baby and it's things boy or girl will match better with black, I am not trying to match but a pink or blue blanket would look better with black right?? Well I have them both because I cannot decide for myself, I am more of a color girl then just plain black but??? ANY THOUGHTS??

THE DOCTOR

The doctor said that this week we could do the ultrasound and asked his nurse to call and make the appointment, she came back and said they are really really busy and the soonest they had was Sept 29th :( AHHHHHH I am so excited I can't stand it, I really want to know what I am having!! I will be sure to fill everyone in the moment I know! He also said everything looks great and that I am measuring maybe even a little bigger....

The other day at back to school night Jamie's mom came up to me and told me that her daughter had come home from school that day and informed her that she had been looking for a nice boy her whole life (all 6 years) and finally found one and it happened to be Jake, we got a good little laugh out of that!
Then Jake came home from school today and told me they talked about what a friend is and what kind of friend you should be. They were instructed to pair up with someone they didn't know and do some sort of get to know you... He then told me that he paired up with a girl named Kaiya and now they are really good friends. After the lesson she informed him that she wanted to marry him when they were older! He then said this; " There are just too many girls to choose from now, there is Jamie, Migs, (who he has loved since kindergarten) Sophia and now Kaiya" I laughed and said "oh Jakey, you don't need to worry about that right now, you are only a little boy. He said " I know mom, that's only when I get older!" WOW I was not aware this would all start in 1st grade? But then again I remember playing kissing tag at that age... Oh boy, make it stop!

I am going to start a new tradition on my blog.... It will be called the quote of the week, I will post a fun thought/quote about children every Monday! So if you read my previous post, this will help with the once a week updating I promised even if I don't have anything to blog about. In fact, it's Monday and I am going to do one right now!

A LITTLE CHUCKLE!

My sister called me today and said this; "Hey Tabby, did you know you can blog more then once a month and they don't even charge you or anything?" We both got a little chuckle out of it.... Apparently I am not very good at updating as much as she does, which is about everyday, and that is why we all love her blog! I guess I don't think anyone really even looks at my blog enough to care how much updating I am doing? Sometimes I take pictures and have good things to blog about and then I forget, so then I feel like I can't go back in time to tell everyone about something fun we did 2 months ago... UTAH STATE FAIR!

We went to the state fair this past weekend with my sister Tiffany and her little girl Eliza! Jake and I love to hang out with them and now that we live in Salt Lake we are only 5 min away! We all had a blast!
