OHHHhhhh, the weather outside is frightful.......

BUT THE

IS SO DELIGHTFUL!!!

AND SINCE WE'VE NO PLACE TO GO.....LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW....
We had such a great weekend!!! We played in the snow, lit the fire, drank hot chocolate and dipped pretzels for Christmas gifts!

And before all of that, we went to our ward "pajama" Christmas party and saw Santa!

IS DISGUSTING..... Brad Loves Cool Whip. I HATE it. I was at the store the other day and saw a new version in a spray can, so I picked some up for him as a surprise! He thought he was so funny spraying the new version into Millie's mouth...Who by the way LOVED it! YUCK

And she's off!!!

9 months.

Little miss Millie is 9 months already.
These are her 9 month stats:
Weight: 17.3 lbs (20%)
Height: 26.5 inches (25%)

• Millie Loves food and water! She likes whatever anyone is eating around her but her favorites are yogurt, crackers, fruit, Cheerios, cafe rio and ice:) She opens her mouth like a little baby bird anytime she wants something out of your mouth especially ice?!
  
• Millie can stand and take 2 steps! She holds on to the couch and dives into the love sac while stepping and laughing. She is so determined! She will take a step or two if I put my arms out to her!
  
• She loves to walk along furniture and crawl everywhere.


• She loves phones, remotes, and camera's. She will take those over toys any day! I tried taking my phone away from her the other day and she started throwing a little tantrum.
  
• She says mama ma ma, and dada da da, and I even think she knows what it means!


• She can sign water and all done!
  
• She tries to climb on and up everything. Loves to climb on the dishwasher.
  
• Millie loves Jake and follows him around the house. He also loves her!
  
• Millie still thinks it's fun to get up to eat at night... I think I will use my earplugs tonight.
  
• She just started waving "bye bye."
  
• Millie loves to sing! When I sing a tune she laughs and then sings the same tune!


• Millie fake coughs, whenever you cough she thinks it's so funny and then copies it.


• She blinks her eyes over and over because we all laugh which encourages her.


• She is fascinated with animals, her eyes don't move when they are in sight.


• I cannot keep socks on her! She pulls them off and flings them over the side of her crib. Every time without fail she is sockless when I get her from naps. She also takes them off while playing and then crawls around with the sock in her mouth. So funny!

Millie is such a determined little girl! She is so easy going and fun! She lets you know she's there but rarely cries. She is very, very busy and I'm sure that's why she is such a little peanut!
She is so funny! It has been so fun to see her little personality emerge! She laughs and smiles constantly!

We love our little Millie!

SCHOOL PICTURE DAY!

Jake had a play called "School Picture Day." It was a very well put together play and we loved it! Jake had two speaking parts and did a cartwheel... My camera was not cooperating so I missed getting it on film, but he did such a great job! He was super excited to wear his new suit because they asked the kids to dress their very best! We were laughing though because he was having a hard time raising his hands above his head:)

She knows what she likes!

The second I put Millie down, she makes a mad dash to Jake's room for his Halloween candy. I wasn't sure what she was doing at first and then I found her with 2 wrapped starbursts in her mouth chewed and soaked. Now that she has had a taste she knows what she likes;)

Love to match!

I planned our outfits to match for church last Sunday. Brad laughs at me and says.."Oh great, we are going to be one of those family's." But... Being the nice guy that Brad is, he went along with it:)

What Jake is thankful for!

I just love when Jake brings papers like this home! I keep them in his special memory box!
Snow and winter and mom and dad's and money and teachers and math and science and friends and clothes and planet earth and water and food and people and books!
I love it! So cute!

**UPDATE**

We found the letter "P" Jake had put it in his pocket so Millie would not eat it.
What a good brother!

Today's letter is the letter "P"

We think Millie ate the letter "P" on Brad's laptop this morning!

We heard her in the room banging on the computer and when Brad went in to get her the "P" was missing, we looked everywhere.......

I am not looking forward to digging through her "P"oo"P" to find it!
I've had luck finding things in there before.. We'll see this time;)

Fall!

The weather has been so beautiful! Millie just loves to be outside crunching around in the leaves! She is so much fun!

HaLlOwEeN!

Happy Halloween a little late! We had the whole crew this Halloween and we had a blast! We started out on Friday with Jake's school carnival, then went to dinner at the spaghetti factory. Saturday afternoon we went to the Discovery Gateway kids museum for all of their fun festivities! Mask making, pumpkin painting, face painting, trick or treat bag making, and the balloon lady! Brad was a champ to stand in line for 40 min while the kids played, what a good daddy! Then that night we went around our neighborhood and hit the jack pot! Tons of big, yummy treats! Kenna went with one of her friends because she is "old" now:) Everyone said they had a great Halloween!

Jake talked Xander into combining all of the candy so he could "organize it" and being the very passive boy that Xander is, he agreed.

I hope I do not have an obsessive boy on my hands... I am pretty sure I do! After all of the candy was "organized" they split it up evenly and even gave some to brad and I!

A little visit from Allison!

My dear friend Allison and I try to get together as often as we can, but that usually only ends up being once a year or so. She lives in Canada and I am here so we don't live all that close. We have both had babies recently and now she is expecting again! I hope we will still be able to manage our yearly visit:) I miss her terribly when we are apart. We talk on the phone almost every day! BUT......We had a blast. My dear husband watched the kids a lot so we could eat, play, and shop! It was so nice to visit and hang out in person! I miss you already Ally & Ady
Eating! Allison Loves Cafe Rio! Who doesn't? She had to get her fix, so we ate there I think 3 times!! I wish I could mail it to her! Our babies also loved it!

My little sister Lexy watched our babes so we could go out! Allison and I went to Gardner village for the little dinner theater they put on for Halloween! Loved hanging out!

Shopping trips! For the most part our kids cooperated!

PARK CITY!

I am slacking in the blogging department...
A few weekends ago we went to park city to do all of the fun activities before they closed to get ready for the snow season. The leaves were changing and it was beautiful!
We had a blast, here are some photo's!

I ran upstairs today and on my way back down, this is what I found....Millie learned she could go up the stairs today. The way our stairs are finished will not allow us to put a gate up... I will have to be extra careful with this little mover!
She will be 8 months tomorrow! WOW, she is determined!
