Brad's birthday surprise!

Brad has talked about going to the big air show in San Diego for years but for one reason or another we have never gone.
It is always in October which is his birthday month so I always think of taking him for his birthday but never have... So this year I did! It is his big huge birthday on the 13th...I will not say which one;)
I did not tell him one thing... Not even the fact that we were flying:) I had his dad pick us up and give us a ride to the airport and then handed him an envelope with a paper that had pictures of things we would be doing in order and then the reservations sheet, rental car sheet, tickets to the show, etc!
He had NO idea...He was really surprised! We had SO much fun. It was MUCH NEEDED and very relaxing... No kids included! I cannot remember that last time we had this much fun together! It really feels nice to remind yourself why you love this person you spend every day with! I forgot how much fun we have together and how much I adore Brad! There is never a dull moment with the two of us, I laughed more than I have in a long time!
ABOVE  is what was on the paper I handed him!
Ohhh... The beach! Love it!
It was our first stop!

Kind of cheesy:) But I Love this picture!

Footprints on the beach!
I will NEVER forget the time I stepped on one of these bad boys when I was really little.
OUCH!

Our feet!
I thought this little bird was really cool looking!

We would have LOVED to surf but the water was cold
and we did not want to rent wetsuits.. oh well, next time!

Walking on the Pier!
Doing what we do best!
Taking photo's of ourselves!

And again!

The background! Beautiful!
We found this cool little place that surfers were
diving into for the great waves!
Just a little turtle chilling!
Awe! The pool and hot tub!

being silly!

more silliness!
On our way up to the room for some more fun;)
This was actually amazing and they sounded fantastic!
I gave them a dollar.. But now I actually wished I bought their CD!

The air show!

Brad was seriously like a little giddy school boy!

Brad videoing the action!

Something was cool to Brad about the planes in our
background.. So that is the reason for this picture!
Miramar air show!
Our FANTASTIC view
From our FANTASTIC hotel!

oh ya!

Nighttime view!

We found the BEST and very cheap sushi restaurant
to go out to for brad's birthday dinner!
Oh man, I am telling you I wish I could bring one to Utah!
We ate so much and had so much fun!
The best rolls I have ever had!

I snuck the waitress an appropriate amount of candles
and they brought then out in a bowl of ice-cream!
She said she found the biggest bowl they had because
she was having a hard time getting ALL of the candles to fit;)
And the Pokey sticks lit on fire! oops!

Some pirate ships I guess!
And this sums the trip up!
Fish taco!
Another delicious place to eat!
Happy birthday Bradley!
