I really cannot say enough good things about Discovery Gateway! We went there to celebrate Halloween and we had a blast! They had face (or hand painting), decorate your own trick or treat bag, pumpkin painting, mask making, and graham cracker haunted house making! after the festivities they had put on a magic show, trick or treating, and costume contests! You should all make an effort to go next year! I think we might make it our tradition!

Jake wanted to make cookies today so I gave him a long choice of options... After some thought, he decided on gingerbread cookies (which are my fav!!) YUMM!

We fed the ducks today after Jake got out of school.... Oh my are they overwhelming! Maybe even a little scary! Jake said he felt bad because the seagulls were so mean to each other. They were all fighting for the wheat delight, and getting a little too close for comfort! We saw everything from ducks, geese, pigeons and seagulls.

Jake had his last baseball game last night... Here he is with his eye on the prize...Homeplate!

We are very lucky to live next to East high..Yes, the high school musical phenomenon! Jake will be attending high school there if we are still in this area when he is ready. They had a Halloween fundraising carnival and we went! We had a lot of fun! Jake won lots of cool HSM paraphernalia and got to play lots of games! He even got a East high hoodie! He was very excited about that and has not taken it off since last night.

Getting big!

I feel like I am getting huge! I am having some serious trouble bending over... Brad laughs at me a lot due to my grunting every time I get up, sit down, or bend over. I am feeling her move a lot! It kind of makes it a little more real, ya know!? I am 5 months and 3 weeks... Almost 6months, the time really does fly, pretty soon I will have a baby and she will be turning 1... So I am just trying to enjoy what is happening now and excited for what is coming! I am sure I will have a different attitude when I have 3 weeks left:)

The pumpkin carving begins! We decided it would be a good weekend for carving pumpkins! After some yummy taco soup we let the fun begin!
The whole gang!
The finished projects!
I decided to paint mine... I was feeling like Martha last night! Have you ever seen a ghost pumpkin? Cute huh!?

Another day at the skate park!

Just another day at the skate park! Jake's favorite past time!

We did a little class at Discovery Gateway the other day. If you have gone to Discovery Gateway but didn't do any of the classes you are really missing out... They have all age groups and do really fun things depending on the months and the best part is that they are FREE. We live 2 min away so we have a pass and let me tell you..It is so worth it to Jake and I!
They have the cutest calender month for October... The day we went was "witches brew" they read the kids a cute little story and then made potions! Jake had a blast and informed me that he wanted to make that every day!

Brad's birthday was on Oct, 13th... I love this time of year, I think it's a good month to have your birthday. I can't say how old he is, he wanted me to tell everyone this is his 8th year celebrating his 30th:)
He does not like sprinkles, but everyone else does. (notice the half sprinkle cake.)
This cake is the famous chocolate, cream cheese family recipe... it is to DIE for!!!

After a long time in the making... A year to be exact, of blood sweat and tears. Our website has finally launched! "MOCKSTAR BABY" I am in love with it! We have skate, surf, and snow clothing, shoes, goggles, hats etc.... But here is the great thing about it... It is all in tiny sizes that I personally have never been able to find before for Jake or for Baby gifts! We are so excited about our website!
Here is how is works, One item pops up for an amazing price, as soon as that one item has sold out a new item will pop up, and so on..... It is like a first come first serve sort of thing, a race to get that item for a smokin deal! You cannot see what you have missed so make sure to download a little icon that will pop up telling you when the deal has changed, it is called "GET THE POOP"
You can also go into the "BLOG" on our site that talks about past steals!
Don't forget to read the "CRIB CReDO" that tells all about us and this concept!
So go ahead, don't be shy, you will all LOVE it!

Best friends weekend!

My very best friend Allison came to visit me last weekend from Canada and we had a blast! Every time I go to blog about it I realize my camera is either with Brad or the battery is dead so I am finally getting to it.
This was a very much needed weekend at least for me, we ate our hearts out, shopped, ate some more and most important got to visit which I loved the most!
She just had a beautiful baby girl 4 months ago that I had never met, so that was so exciting for Brad, Jake and myself! It made me even more excited to have a girl, she was so much fun!
I miss Allison so much, it makes me very sad to not have her closer. We talk everyday for hours on the phone but it still sucks that she can't just come over and visit whenever she wants. Our husbands probably think we are crazy, we spent 5 days together and we talked for another hour on the phone when she called to tell me she arrived home safely! Thanks Chad and Brad for putting up with us! Here are some pics of our weekend together!
I miss you already Ally!

I made Brad take the picture 20 times, first I told him to get closer to our faces to try and cut my arms out... Then I told him to back up because my double chin was alarming... Of course Allison looked cute and normal in all of them, she had a baby 4months ago.. Can you believe that?

Jake LOVED baby Adelyn!
